Mill Valley Record Both Charlie Deal and the 2 A.M. Club went platinum last week in a manner of speaking. Huey Lewis, the homegrown musician made good, dropped by the 2 A.M. last week to announce that his latest album "Sports," has earned platinum status (that's 1 million units sold). The album cover was shot at the club's bar and prominently in view on the wall behind Huey Lewis and the News is a Charlie Deal toilet seat guitar. Charlie has vowed that he'll make no changes in his lifestyle even though more than a million homes now contain a picture of one of his masterpieces. |
